Pray for the Village School: prayforsvaypak

In partnership with Agape International Ministries, Vista supports the ongoing development of a school in one of the most trafficked villages in the world. Vista’s sole overseas missionary, Jen Morgan, serves as the Director of that school which currently runs one Kindergarten class as it continues to train local teachers, develop quality curriculum and add new classes.

Just outside of Phnom Penh, Cambodia a village, highlighted by CNN and other news outlets, is being significantly impacted for good through the efforts of Agape International Ministries lead by Don Brewster. Agape has established a Christian church, Rahab’s House, in the village and through it has begun numerous outreach ministries in hopes of changing the morally bereft community. Children, mostly girls, are sold and trafficked beginning at unthinkably young ages by their very own families. It’s a culture that holds next to no value for children and therefore sacrifice their purity and innocence in a futile attempt to alleviate their desperately impoverished existence.

We are proud to know and work with Jen and Don as they sacrificially and continually serve Jesus in herculean ways to save children daily from the horrors of abuse, while reaching out to the parents and adults to change an entire village…and culture.
